Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Chef Manager to join our team in Shrewsbury- Grange Primary. Full-time, permanent role - equated pay £22,100 35 hours per week 38 working weeks Predominantly Monday to Friday working pattern Company pension scheme Life assurance Employee assistance programme Employee discounts and benefits platform Ongoing learning and development opportunities Career progression within a global organisation Generous holiday entitlement What you'll be doing Managing the day-to-day catering and kitchen operation Leading, inspiring, and developing a high-performing team Preparing and delivering fresh, high-quality food to agreed standards Planning menus and introducing innovative food concepts Managing stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships Monitoring food costs and ensuring budget targets are achieved Maintaining compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company procedures Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders Ensuring excellent customer satisfaction through quality service delivery Driving continuous improvement and implementing best practices across the operation Previous experience as a Chef Manager, Head Chef, or similar management role Strong culinary skills and a passion for food Experience leading and developing kitchen teams Financial awareness, including managing budgets, food costs, and stock control Excellent communication and organisational skills Good knowledge of food hygiene, allergen management, and health & safety legislation Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards Relevant catering qualifications and Food Hygiene certification are desirable At Aramark UK, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone is valued and empowered to thrive.
