Chief Executive Officer - Transylvania Habitat for Humanity

Transylvania Habitat for Humanity is looking for a Chief Executive Officer to lead its local affiliate during a crucial growth phase. The CEO will be responsible for transforming a significant housing pipeline into sustainable opportunities, enhancing home repair and disaster recovery efforts, and fostering partnerships to better serve families. This role requires a leader who can effectively connect people, projects, and resources to increase the availability of affordable housing. The ideal candidate should possess a strong passion for the organization's mission and demonstrate bold vision alongside sound financial judgment. They will oversee a team of 26 staff members and report to a 14-member Board of Directors. A newly created Chief Operating Officer will handle daily operations, allowing the CEO to concentrate on strategic initiatives and community relationships. The position is based in Brevard, NC, and requires an in-person working arrangement.
