Roadway Engineer

AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Roadway Engineer to join their Roads & Highways Central Team in Oklahoma City, OK. This entry-level position involves working on various engineering projects, focusing on plans, investigations, and surveys, while applying analysis and deductive reasoning. The role requires independent judgment on routine tasks, with guidance provided for more complex issues. The engineer will also coordinate with junior professionals and interface with senior technical staff. Candidates should have 0-2 years of experience in a related field and must hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution. Basic computer skills for data entry, along with technical writing and communication abilities, are necessary, while proficiency in CAD and MicroStation is preferred. An Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is required, with a goal of obtaining a Professional Engineer (PE) license. This position is suitable for recent graduates or those early in their engineering careers.
