IAM Governance Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced IAM Governance Consultant to provide specialist consulting services. The consultant will play a key role in analyzing existing governance frameworks, assessing project outcomes, and driving continuous improvements across multiple User Access Management (UAM) initiatives. Working independently while collaborating with senior stakeholders and cross-functional delivery teams, you will evaluate governance processes, challenge assumptions constructively, facilitate decision-making, and translate business requirements into clear and actionable governance guidelines. What You'll Deliver Analyze and enhance IAM Governance processes, including Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML), Recertification, and Application Onboarding frameworks. Review project findings, identify process gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities, providing practical and evidence-based recommendations. Develop, maintain, and continuously improve group-wide IAM Governance guidelines, standards, and documentation. Lead stakeholder workshops, governance forums, and recurring meetings to drive alignment and decision-making across multiple initiatives. Monitor progress, report on key governance activities, and present process updates, recommendations, and outcomes to senior management. What We're Looking For Strong experience working as a Business Analyst within IAM Governance, Identity Management, or User Access Management programmes. In-depth knowledge of IAM Governance processes, including Identity Lifecycle Management, JML, Recertification, and Application Onboarding. Experience working with Business Roles, Non-Personal Accounts, and access governance controls. Strong analytical and critical-thinking capabilities, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and validate recommendations constructively. Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and documentation skills. Very good written and spoken English. Bonus Points For German language skills. Experience defining and implementing enterprise-wide IAM Governance standards and frameworks. Experience delivering across multiple IAM or UAM transformation projects simultaneously. Familiarity with regulatory, audit, or compliance requirements related to identity and access governance. Relevant certifications in Business Analysis, IAM, Security, or Governance disciplines.
