Forward Deployed Engineer

Comand AI is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join their team in Paris, focusing on developing next-generation command and control software. In this role, you will work closely with users and customers, traveling to client sites approximately 25% of the time to iterate on the core product based on real-world feedback. The position involves shipping complete features and collaborating with product management, design, and engineering teams to enhance the user experience. Candidates should have at least two years of experience in full-stack software engineering, with a preference for those who have been technical founders. EU citizenship is required due to defense contract stipulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong user empathy, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and a willingness to engage in hands-on problem-solving. Experience in defense or dual-use technology, as well as familiarity with computer vision or geospatial applications, is advantageous.
