О вакансии

Devoteam is seeking a Data Visualization & Analytics Engineer to work remotely. In this role, the engineer will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical specifications, designing and maintaining visual representations such as charts and dashboards, and utilizing data storytelling techniques. The position involves interacting with data warehousing and business intelligence tools to source data for visualizations, as well as conducting unit testing and troubleshooting. Candidates should have at least three years of experience in a similar role and familiarity with BI technologies like Microsoft Power BI or Tableau. A solid understanding of database management systems, OLAP, and ETL processes is essential, along with a background in data warehouse design and proficiency in SQL. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. Fluency in both English and Arabic is necessary. The role is suitable for individuals who are innovative, possess strong analytical skills, and are flexible in their work arrangements, as it allows for mobility between Tunis and Riyadh.

Translate business needs to technical specifications Design, build and maintain charts, dashboards, and KPIs Story-telling using data visualization Communicate with data warehousing and BI storage tools (e.g. OLAP cubes) to get the data for the visualizations Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting Evaluate and improve existing BI systems Develop and execute SQL database queries and conduct analyses 3 years of experience in data visualization and analytics role Experience with at least one BI technology (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, Microstrategy, etc..) Good understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework Good background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) Good command of SQL language Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field Fluent in English & Arabic This role requires flexibility in mobility, allowing individuals to work interchangeably between Tunis and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).
