Mobile Principal Software Engineer

Dscout is seeking a Mobile Principal Software Engineer to lead their mobile team as they transition to an AI-first platform. In this role, you will be responsible for evolving mobile applications, which are developed using Swift and Kotlin, while also engaging with the backend built on Elixir and Python. The position requires a hands-on approach with AI coding agents, emphasizing practical experience in deploying significant work rather than just basic functionalities. You will collaborate closely with Product and Design teams, focusing on understanding and solving business challenges rather than merely executing technical tasks. The ideal candidate should possess a strong product mindset, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and making informed decisions about when to prototype or build robust solutions.
