Senior AWS Python Developer / Ops Engineer

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior AWS Python Developer or Operations Engineer with over six years of experience to join their team in Armenia. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining resilient, event-driven services on AWS serverless infrastructure. Candidates should have strong skills in Python development and a solid understanding of AWS fundamentals, including VPCs and DynamoDB. The position requires expertise in managing infrastructure as code using TypeScript and a focus on operational excellence to ensure services are secure and scalable. Daily responsibilities include contributing to architectural decisions, documenting technical trade-offs, and writing automated end-to-end tests to maintain product quality. This is a fully remote position, allowing candidates to work from anywhere in Armenia, including home or designated offices in Yerevan or Gyumri.
