Responsibilities Design and develop comprehensive API integration test plans and test cases. Execute functional, regression, and performance testing for APIs across multiple environments. Collaborate with software developers and product teams to understand API requirements and design test strategies. Identify, document, and track defects related to API functionality and integration issues. Perform end-to-end testing by simulating real-world API usage scenarios. Analyze test results, provide actionable insights, and support continuous improvement of API quality. Maintain and update automated API tests to keep pace with rapid product iterations. Requirements Proven experience in API integration testing and quality assurance methodologies. Strong knowledge of RESTful and SOAP API protocols and standards. Familiarity with testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, or similar. Experience with automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is highly desirable. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in agile development environments and communicate effectively with technical teams. Understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and how testing integrates into them.
