National Customs Consultant

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a National Customs Consultant based in East Point, GA, to enhance logistics and ensure the smooth operation of global supply chains. In this role, you will provide expert guidance on import regulations and customs clearance, focusing primarily on import shipments to the USA. Daily tasks include classifying goods under appropriate tariff codes, advising clients on import valuation, and maintaining compliance with import laws. You will also build relationships with clients and government agencies, helping to identify strategies that reduce import costs and mitigate potential risks. A Bachelor’s degree in international business or supply chain management is preferred for this position. The role requires individuals who are already authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship. This position is well-suited for those with a strong understanding of customs processes and a commitment to optimizing logistics for clients.
