Senior Software Engineer, Observability

NetBox Labs is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their Observability Team, which focuses on enhancing network automation. The role involves daily tasks such as developing and managing software for network discovery, monitoring, and fleet management. Candidates should have over five years of experience and possess strong skills in Go, protobuf APIs, PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ. Familiarity with multi-tenant services, OAuth2/OIDC, and event-driven systems is also required, along with a solid understanding of observability concepts and networking fundamentals. The position emphasizes the ability to write technical specifications and communicate effectively with various teams, including product owners and community contributors. While not mandatory, experience in a fast-paced startup, MQTT protocols, Kubernetes, Django, and Python for testing is considered a plus.
