STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Rite of Passage is seeking a Staff Accountant for their Canyon State Academy in Queen Creek, AZ. In this role, you will manage and analyze financial information, including taxes and other filings related to the organization and its non-profit schools. Candidates should possess a degree in accounting or a related field, along with 3-5 years of accounting experience. Familiarity with maintaining a general ledger and month-end financial close is essential, and knowledge of Great Plains software is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and good interpersonal skills are necessary, as you may need to interview potential employees. The position operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour break. Applicants must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, physical examination, and TB test, as well as a search of the child abuse central registry.
