Registered Nurse (RN) - Primary Care

Sentara Medical Group is seeking a Full-Time Primary Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team at the Internal Medicine Princess Anne Clinic in Virginia Beach, VA. The nurse will be responsible for providing patient care, supporting clinical operations, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality service for patients and their families. Daily tasks include assessing patients, assisting with procedures, administering medications and immunizations, and offering patient education. The role also involves managing triage, follow-up communications, and clinical documentation in the electronic health record. Candidates should have prior experience in Primary Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or chronic disease management. An Associate’s degree in nursing is required, while a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and a current state RN license are mandatory, with Ambulatory Care Nursing certification being a plus. The position operates during day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This role is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to patient-centered care and improving community health.
