Platform Engineer, Managed Postgres

Supabase is looking for a Platform Engineer specializing in Managed Postgres to join their remote team. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining core platform services, primarily using TypeScript and Go. Daily tasks include implementing distributed services and APIs, enhancing system scalability and reliability, and developing data-intensive workflows and event-driven pipelines. Candidates should have a strong background in distributed systems, with a focus on consistency, fault tolerance, and partitioning, along with at least five years of experience in building production services in TypeScript and/or Go. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, and container orchestration is essential. Knowledge of multi-tenant architectures, API design, and data modeling is also required. Additionally, experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Pulumi or Terraform is preferred. The position is suitable for individuals comfortable with on-call rotations for large-scale production systems and those who can collaborate effectively with product teams to deliver features from design to production.
