Python Developer - Front Office - Equity Derivatives

Location: NYC (Hybrid – at least 3 days onsite/week) Visa Sponsorship: Talan does not sponsor U.S. work permits or employment visas. We are seeking a talented Python Developer to join our team and work on Equity Derivatives Trading Desk. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python , with a solid understanding of the Equity-Derivatives business, and be passionate about maintaining and enhancing Trade Support Platforms. Role and responsibilities Maintain, monitor, and support our EQD tools used daily by traders, structurers, and risk managers, ensuring reliability and performance Contribute to the development of a transversal data platform that accelerates the creation of new applications across the firm Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes for builds, containerization, and deployment Develop and enhance full-stack features with a focus on delivering business-driven functionality Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions, while staying eager to deepen your finance knowledge Minimum of 4+ years of experience in OOP Development Experience with 2 years + backend Python Software Development Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes Understanding of equity derivatives business or strong willingness to learn Adaptable, proactive mindset with a growth mentality Bonus: experience with AI/ML applications in analytics Company’s Benefits At Talan, we invest in our employees' well-being and empower them with benefits, including: 💵 Competitive salary between USD $100,000 - US$140,000.
