Chief Executive Officer

The Arc Gateway, a respected non-profit in Pensacola, FL, is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to guide the organization in its mission to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The CEO will be responsible for strategic, operational, and financial leadership, acting as the primary advocate and spokesperson for the organization. Daily tasks will include leading an executive team, enhancing community partnerships, and advancing fundraising initiatives while ensuring high-quality service delivery. Candidates should have a proven background in nonprofit executive leadership, particularly with budgets exceeding $10 million, and experience in securing long-term sustainability for organizations. A strong understanding of donor relations, grant management, and funding sources such as APD and Medicaid waivers is essential. Familiarity with the I/DD community and person-centered service models is also required. Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least five years of management experience, or a master’s degree with three years of relevant experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for collaboration with various stakeholders.
