Senior Software Engineer

UpGuard is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their remote Product Engineering team. In this role, you will take ownership of a specific feature area, leading technical design and overseeing the entire process from initial discussions to production. You will collaborate closely with product managers and designers to shape the development of the Cyber Risk Posture Management platform, which integrates security ratings and AI to help organizations manage cyber risks effectively. The technology stack includes React and TypeScript for the front end, Go for backend services, and Postgres as the primary database, all running on Kubernetes in the Google Cloud Platform. Familiarity with agentic coding tools, such as Claude Code and Cursor, is also important, as is a willingness to contribute ideas for automation in coding, testing, and deployment processes.
