Senior Mechanical Engineer

Verustruct is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design of their robotic construction platform in Torrance. In this role, you will be responsible for designing mechanical subsystems for various construction equipment, including automated formwork and material delivery systems. You will collaborate with teams across controls, electrical, materials, and structural engineering to ensure seamless integration of hardware components. Key tasks include component selection, tolerance and structural analysis, and overseeing the prototyping and testing of new systems. The position requires proficiency in CAD and a strong understanding of design for manufacturing (DFM) principles. Ideal candidates should have experience in mechanical engineering and a passion for developing innovative construction technologies.
