Product Manager / Business Analyst (m/w/d) - Enterprise Banking

This position involves managing one or two complex enterprise products within a regulated banking environment. The role requires end-to-end responsibility for the product lifecycle, acting as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders. You will collaborate with individuals from business, engineering, and compliance departments to translate requirements into clear product decisions. The work includes structuring backlogs, prioritizing items decisively, and managing cross-team dependencies. This is a strategic product management role rather than a sprint-level product owner position. Candidates need five to eight years of experience as a product manager, product owner, or senior business analyst. You must have demonstrable responsibility for at least two products over their entire lifecycle. Strong structured thinking is essential for breaking down requirements, setting priorities, and communicating clearly at all levels. Experience working with senior stakeholders and decision-makers is required. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory. Familiarity with banking, fintech, or highly regulated environments such as those governed by BaFin, EBA, or DORA is considered a plus. The job is based in Leipzig.
