Arm.wool is an Armenian initiative focused on rebuilding the country's wool value chain—from sheep farming to finished textiles—while combining traditional craftsmanship with modern sustainability, fair trade practices, and digital traceability. The Homeland Development Initiative Foundation (HDIF) is the organization behind Arm.wool. Founded to promote sustainable economic development in Armenia, HDIF focuses on creating dignified employment, particularly for women in rural and border communities. It follows an "aid-for-trade" model that emphasizes long-term economic opportunity over short-term assistance and is a Guaranteed Member of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO).
