The Armenian State Symphony Orchestra is one of Armenia’s foremost cultural institutions, representing classical and contemporary music on both national and international platforms. The Orchestra is distinguished by its exceptional artistic standards, bold programming, and innovative vision, fostering a vibrant and forward-looking cultural landscape. The Armenian State Symphony Orchestra also places particular emphasis on educational initiatives for young audiences and the implementation of innovative projects, thereby contributing to the promotion and wider appreciation of classical music in Armenia. The Orchestra’s Artistic Director and Principal Conductor is Sergey Smbatyan.
