Monitoring and Observability Engineer

Firebird.ai is seeking a Monitoring and Observability Engineer to develop and manage observability infrastructure for their platform in Yerevan. The role involves designing solutions for metrics, logs, traces, and synthetic monitoring across both on-premise and cloud environments. Daily tasks include building and maintaining custom monitoring agents, creating dashboards and alerts, and overseeing the entire monitoring stack, including deployment and performance tuning. The engineer will also implement distributed tracing pipelines and establish observability standards while collaborating with various teams to ensure comprehensive monitoring coverage. Candidates should have over five years of experience in building and operating observability platforms, a strong grasp of Linux internals and networking, and the ability to write production-grade code. This position is suited for hands-on engineers who excel in complex infrastructure environments and can derive actionable insights from telemetry data. The role is permanent and based in the office.
