Business Analyst (RPS Business Transformation)

First Hawaiian Bank is looking for a Business Analyst to support its RPS Business Transformation Department in Honolulu, HI. The role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining both existing and new computerized systems and business processes. Daily tasks include reviewing business and application processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, as well as creating test plans and conducting testing for software changes or new releases. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field, or possess equivalent work experience. For the Business Analyst II level, three years of relevant experience is required, while five years is necessary for the Business Analyst III level. A certification from a recognized organization, such as IIBA, is preferred, along with knowledge of the financial services industry and the system development life cycle. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines. The position follows a standard Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though hours may vary.
