Junior Applied AI Engineer

This full-time position at ILLUIN Technology in Paris La Défense involves designing and building advanced data science solutions for clients. The role operates in both custom project and product development modes, focusing on high-impact outcomes for users and society. Day-to-day tasks include data preparation, modeling, machine learning engineering, and deployment within specific technical domains. The team works extensively with Retrieval-Augmented Generation, chatbots, natural language processing, and large language or vision models. Engineers also contribute to project management, client relations, and technical decision-making. Additionally, the role requires participation in internal initiatives such as literature reviews, experience sharing, and training sessions. Candidates must have at least one prior professional experience in data science, such as an internship or project, within a demanding or highly technical environment. Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of machine learning and deep learning is essential, along with concrete implementation experience in real-world use cases. Specific technical experience with deep learning and generative AI is also required. While not mandatory, skills in MLOps, solution deployment, and monitoring are considered advantageous.
