Software Engineer (Node.js, JavaScript, GraphQL & AWS)

NetApp is looking for a Software Engineer to join their API Platform Engineering team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The role involves designing, developing, and delivering scalable, cloud-native APIs and services while promoting engineering excellence within the team. Candidates should have 4 to 7 years of relevant software development experience, with strong programming skills in Node.js and Python. Experience in creating and utilizing REST and GraphQL APIs in production settings is essential, along with a solid background in developing cloud-native applications using AWS services. Familiarity with distributed systems and microservices architecture is also required. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of software design principles, scalability, performance optimization, and testing practices. Proficiency in Git-based version control, Bitbucket, Jira, CI/CD practices, and Agile methodologies is expected. This position is suited for individuals who are self-motivated and capable of delivering technical solutions with minimal supervision.
