Teacher Assistant

Rebecca School in Mount Vernon, NY, is seeking a full-time Teacher Assistant to support students aged 3 to 21 with neurodevelopmental delays using the DIRFloortime® model. In this role, you will collaborate with teachers and therapists to create engaging classroom experiences that foster communication, emotional growth, and independence. Daily tasks include assisting in the implementation of individualized lessons, working directly with students to enhance their social and functional skills, and managing classroom routines and materials. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree or relevant coursework in education, psychology, or a related field, along with experience working with children or young adults with developmental differences.
