Software Engineer

Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team in Yerevan, Armenia. In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues to gather requirements and deliver software solutions. Your daily tasks will include writing maintainable code in object-oriented C++, developing test cases, and working with quality assurance to create automated regression tests. You will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing software, as well as documenting functionality in collaboration with technical publications. Candidates should possess a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with proven experience in software design and development. Strong programming skills in C++ and STL are essential, as is familiarity with object-oriented design and design patterns. Knowledge of Linux is required, and familiarity with TCL/TK is a plus. A solid understanding of data structures and algorithms, along with the ability to write detailed specifications, is also necessary.
