Support Engineer (AMER)

Supabase is looking for a Support Engineer to join their remote team, focusing on providing exceptional support to developers using their Postgres development platform. Daily responsibilities include responding to support inquiries on various topics, triaging cases, and directing users to relevant resources or escalating issues as needed. The role also involves monitoring feedback channels like GitHub Issues and identifying opportunities for improving support tools. Candidates should have over three years of experience in customer support, particularly in a technical environment, and be proficient in SQL, preferably PostgreSQL. Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and command line usage is essential, along with experience using GitHub for issue tracking. Strong communication skills in English are required, and a background in database administration is advantageous. Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Svelte, as well as experience with Node.js, is considered a bonus. This full-time position is intended for individuals located in North American time zones.
