We are currently recruiting for a Chef to join our team at Vimy Barracks, Catterick Garrison, DL9 3PS . What's in it for you? £13.03 per hour 35 hours per week Working 5 days over 7 Life assurance and pension scheme Employee Assistance Programme and online GP access Employee discounts and savings Training and development opportunities Career progression within a global organisation Supportive and inclusive team environment What you'll be doing Preparing and cooking fresh, high-quality meals in line with menus and recipes Ensuring food is presented to a consistently high standard Supporting daily kitchen operations and food service delivery Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and allergen management standards Assisting with stock control, stock rotation, and ordering processes Minimising food waste and supporting kitchen efficiency Ensuring kitchen equipment is used and maintained safely Keeping kitchen and food preparation areas clean, organised, and compliant Working collaboratively with the wider catering team to deliver excellent customer service About you Previous experience working as a Chef in a busy catering or hospitality environment Relevant culinary qualification is desirable Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent organisational and communication skills Positive, flexible, and team-focused approach Passion for delivering high-quality food and service Important Requirements Successful candidates will be required to complete a DBS check . Security clearance will also be required prior to commencing employment. Ability to work within a military environment and comply with all site security procedures.
