Chef Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for a Chef Supervisor to join our team at Munster Barracks, Catterick Garrison, DL9 3PZ . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced catering professional to take a leadership role within a busy military catering operation, helping to deliver approximately 1,000 meals three times per day while maintaining exceptional standards of food quality, service, and compliance. What's in it for you? £14.04 per hour 40 hours per week Working 5 days over 7, including some weekends Early shifts: 06:00 - 14:30 Late shifts: 10:00 - 18:30 Discounted meals whilst on duty Free on-site parking Free uniform and safety shoes provided 20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays Access to our Employee Benefits app, including online GP access, Employee Assistance Programme, discounts, supermarket savings and more Life assurance and pension scheme Generous holiday entitlement with the option to buy additional leave Excellent training and development opportunities Apprenticeship schemes available Fantastic career progression opportunities within a global organisation What you'll be doing Working with a team of chefs and kitchen assistants to deliver around 1,000 meals, three times a day Supervising day-to-day activity within the kitchen operation Preparing quality food within a set pre-ordered menu Ensuring the kitchen is clean, organised, and operating to the highest hygiene standards Conducting stock checks and ensuring stock is managed effectively Completing all relevant paperwork and due diligence records accurately Handling customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner Supporting compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company procedures Assisting with the training and development of team members Maintaining excellent standards of customer service and operational delivery About you Previous supervisory experience within a catering or hospitality environment One of the following qualifications, or equivalent: BSc Catering MHCIM HND City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 Good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and best practice CIEH Level 2 qualification or equivalent Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent organisational and time-management abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Positive, proactive, and customer-focused approach Important Requirements Applicants must have resided in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work in the UK Successful candidates must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks At Aramark UK, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone is valued and empowered to thrive.
