Mechanical Design Engineer

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for their Tullahoma, TN location. In this role, the engineer will apply principles from engineering physics, mathematics, and materials science to assist in the design, analysis, manufacturing, or maintenance of aero-thermal and mechanical systems. The position involves developing solutions to complex problems and contributing to a collaborative design team while working independently with some guidance. Candidates should have experience in an engineering design role, including creating and releasing engineering drawings, and familiarity with structured hardware development processes. Proficiency in 3D CAD design software and knowledge of ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing principles are also required. A bachelor's degree is necessary, and applicants must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Additional experience in interpreting engineering drawings, conducting thermal or structural analysis, and knowledge of systems engineering principles would be advantageous.
