Associate Commercial Counsel

Discord is seeking an Associate Commercial Counsel to join its remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and finalizing a variety of commercial agreements, including those related to advertising, API and SDK integrations, and in-app purchases. You will also negotiate intellectual property licensing agreements with licensors in gaming and entertainment for digital collectibles and in-app content. Additionally, you will support marketing and sponsorship initiatives while structuring innovative monetization models, such as virtual currencies and subscription bundles. The position requires strong legal skills in commercial agreements and experience in negotiating complex deals. You will report to the Managing Counsel of the Commercial & Marketing Legal team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about the intersection of gaming and legal frameworks.
