Lead Python Test Automation Engineer

EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Python Test Automation Engineer to enhance their engineering team in Armenia. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests for both user-facing and back-office applications, utilizing Python and Pytest. Candidates should have strong expertise in Python and hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering practices. Daily tasks will include applying AI techniques to test analysis, scenario design, and automation development, as well as managing relevant engineering artifacts. The position requires the ability to decompose complex QA tasks into structured steps suitable for AI workflows and to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality and applicability. Familiarity with databases and SQL for data validation is also necessary. This is a fully remote position, allowing candidates to work from anywhere in Armenia, including home or designated offices in Yerevan or Gyumri. This role is ideal for individuals with a solid background in QA automation who are looking to leverage AI in their testing processes.
