Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE)

The Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE) was established in 2000 by Karen Vardanyan as a business association representing the collective interests of Armenia’s high-tech industry. With over 200 high-tech companies , including local and international firms, UATE fosters a vibrant and sustainable tech ecosystem that competes on the global stage. By uniting tech leaders, educators, policymakers, and entrepreneurs , UATE drives Armenia’s technological growth through education and workforce development, business ecosystem advancement, international market access, and technology utilization .

UATE is the organizer of DigiTec , Armenia’s largest annual tech event, attracting over 20,000 visitors and nearly 200 exhibitors in 2024 .
