Finding a job in Armenia

What is open in the country right now, counted rather than described. Every figure on this page is computed over the postings Victra can see in Armenia on the day of the count, and every one of them is free to quote with a link back.

What Armenia is actually hiring for

Every open position in the country grouped by profession, by the job title on the advert. Sales Manager leads, then Accountant. Each row opens every position we hold in that profession, and a title our table does not recognise is counted in the total and in no group.

Where the work is

By city, over the postings we could place. A city with enough behind it has a page of its own; the rest appear as figures only — a link to a page that does not exist is worse than no link.

What these numbers do not tell you

  • Pay: 0 of 1 432 postings state it with a currency — 0%. That is why this site publishes no salary figures for Armenia. A median over a sample that thin would be a guess in the clothes of a statistic.
  • Remote: 48 of 1 432 — 3%. Work here is advertised as on-site almost without exception, so a remote search from Armenia is in practice a search for an employer outside it.
  • Profession: 682 postings carry a title our table does not recognise. They are counted in the total and in no group, rather than filed under a profession they may not be.
  • And the largest limit is the one no number can show. A job filled through somebody who knows somebody was never advertised, and no board — this one included — can count what was never published.

Where these postings come from

Collected from the boards below, and published directly by employers here. We do not republish anyone else’s advert: a collected posting is summarised and linked back to the original, which is where you apply.

  • staff.am — the largest single source of Armenian postings here.
  • ijob.am and job.am — two separate Armenian boards, both collected.
  • LinkedIn, and company career boards on Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever, Workable and SmartRecruiters — where an international employer hiring in Yerevan usually posts.
  • Vacancies employers publish on Victra itself, after claiming their company page.

How to run the search here

  1. Start from the catalogue readable without an account, filterable by city, profession and remote. Every posting links to the original advert.
  2. Match the resume to the advert four templates including an ATS-safe one, and a keyword check that scores your text against one specific posting.
  3. Keep the applications in one place seven stages, interview reminders a day ahead, and a row created for you when you apply to a vacancy published here.
  4. Read the employer before writing to them what each company has open, where, and how long its postings have been running.

Questions people actually ask

How do I find a job in Armenia?

Start where the postings are. staff.am, ijob.am and job.am carry most of what is advertised locally; LinkedIn carries most of what international employers advertise; larger companies publish on their own career pages. Victra collects all of those into one catalogue readable without an account, which is what this page counts. Expect the local market to be advertised in Armenian and Russian at least as often as in English.

How many jobs are open in Armenia right now?

The figure at the top of this page, recomputed every hour: positions open across the boards we collect from, deduplicated so one job counts once however many boards carry it. Read it as a floor rather than a total — a job filled by referral was never advertised anywhere.

Can I work remotely from Armenia?

Rarely for an employer inside it: the share advertised as remote is printed above and it is small. Remote work from Armenia is in practice work for an employer elsewhere, and the catalogue’s remote filter searches worldwide, which is where those postings are.

Do job postings in Armenia say how much they pay?

Almost never — the exact count is above. Ask in the first conversation instead of looking for a number in the advert, and treat any figure quoted before an interview as a range rather than an offer.

Do I need an account to look?

No. The catalogue, every posting, every company page and this report are readable signed out. An account is for the parts that keep something of yours: a resume, a saved search, the application board.

Method

Counted over the 1 432 postings open in Armenia on the day of the count, deduplicated so one job is counted once no matter how many times it was collected or how many boards carry it. 1 391 of them carry a city we could resolve; the rest stay in the totals and out of the city table rather than being filed under a place that may be wrong. 722 is distinct employer names in these postings, not companies with a profile on Victra, which is a much smaller set. A posting leaves the count on its closing date, or when we have not seen it for a month.
