Track every application, from saved to offer
A job search produces a second job: remembering which of forty applications went out when, who replied, and what happens on Tuesday. This is the board that holds it — yours to arrange, with the parts that are not yours to arrange kept separate.
Seven stages, and what each one is for
Saved is for jobs you want to come back to. Applied is what you have sent. Screening starts once a recruiter has been in touch. Interviewing is rounds booked or done. Offer is an offer received. Rejected and Withdrawn are the two ways it ends — closed either way, and worth keeping, because a record of where you applied is the thing you want six months from now.
Where the rows come from
Three ways. You add a vacancy you found anywhere, including outside Victra. You save a job from the catalogue and it arrives in Saved. Or you apply to a vacancy published on Victra, and the row is created for you in Applied. Each row holds the title, the employer, the link, the location, the date you applied, a salary range, your own notes and a rating out of five.
The interview you would otherwise forget
Put a date and time on an interview and you are reminded a day ahead — once per interview, not once per check, and the reminder is re-armed if you move the date. Each row also carries a "next action" with its own date, which is what turns a board into something you can look at once a morning.
Two lists, on purpose
Applications you sent to vacancies published on Victra appear in a second list, read-only, showing the stage the employer has put you at and any note they attached to a rejection. That list is theirs and is not yours to drag; the board above it is your own notes and nobody else sees it. Before this existed, an employer could move you to Shortlisted and you would be the only person who could not see it.
What it does not do
It does not read your mail, and it does not tell an employer anything about your private board — marking a row Rejected on your side changes nothing on theirs. Victra does not send applications to external job boards on your behalf; that feature is switched off platform-wide, so a row appears from an application only when the vacancy is published here.
Questions
Can I track jobs I found somewhere else?
Yes — that is what the manual entry is for. Paste the title, the employer and the link, and the row behaves like any other, reminders included.
Does the employer see my board?
No. Your board is private notes. What an employer sees is the application you sent them, and what you see of their side is the stage they have set — the two lists are deliberately separate.
Do applications appear automatically?
When you apply to a vacancy published on Victra, yes — the row is created in Applied. Applications to external boards are made by you on the board itself, so add those rows yourself.
What happens to rejected applications?
They stay unless you delete them. A closed application is a record: which companies you have already approached, and when — which is exactly what you need before approaching them again.
