Senior Finance Executive - Maternity Cover

We are looking for a Senior Finance Executive to join our Finance Team in London for 12-month maternity cover. This role will report in to the Group Financial Controller. The role is in the London part of a global team made up of people from NYC, LA, Berlin and Sydney. Duties will predominantly consist of: Supporting the management accountant with accounts preparation for multiple companies in various currencies Cashflow forecasting to include inter-company transfers Monthly payroll preparation for the UK entity and administration for overseas entities Daily banking updates to Directors VAT returns Supplier payment runs/payroll runs Chasing outstanding debtors, as required, by phone, letter or email Processing inter-company transactions for multiple companies in multiple currencies Ad-hoc duties as required Keep GDPR and data protection in mind in day to day responsibilities Requirements Strong finance background with experience of all the above Good IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook Enthusiasm, flexibility and excellent interpersonal skills Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are essential Strong accounting and payroll systems such as Sage 50 Accounts, Sage 50 Payroll About 1000heads 1000heads is a Social Transformation company.
