Experienced Veterinary Assistant

What You’ll Do: Safely restrain pets and assist with patient triage. Collect samples and process laboratory tests. Assist with diagnostic imaging and radiographs. Provide nursing care for medical and hospitalized patients. Administer medications and monitor patient progress. Prepare patients for surgery and assist during procedures. Support anesthesia administration and monitoring. Communicate with clients about medical histories and treatment plans. We’re Looking For: At least one year of Veterinary Assistant experience is required . Previous anesthesia experience is required . Strong pet-handling and restraint skills. A compassionate, calm, team-oriented approach. Excellent communication and multitasking abilities. Experience with sample collection, laboratory testing, radiographs, and anesthesia monitoring is a plus. A self-starter eager to learn and grow professionally. Candidates must have at least one year of Veterinary Assistant experience and prior anesthesia experience. This hands-on role requires working with animals, standing for extended periods, and potential exposure to animal waste, odors, noise, bites, scratches, and infectious diseases.
