Backend Software Engineer

ASSA ABLOY Group is hiring a Backend Software Engineer in Phoenix to help build a new product from the ground up as part of a newly formed cross-functional team. The role focuses on designing backend services, APIs, and data access layers, while helping move early prototypes and MVPs into production-ready systems that meet enterprise standards for security, reliability, and performance. It calls for experience with TypeScript, NestJS or similar Node.js frameworks, Prisma or another ORM, and Docker, along with involvement in architecture, code reviews, and documentation. This position will suit someone with at least three years of backend development experience who is comfortable working in a fast-moving product environment.
