Material Planner

Key Responsibilities: Strategically manage and optimize raw material planning, ordering, and inventory processes to achieve critical service and inventory objectives. Conduct comprehensive analysis of raw material usage, execute daily planning for web stock materials, and implement standardization of planning processes to enhance operational efficiency. Develop and maintain robust vendor management processes for accurate forecasting and timely ordering. Spearhead mission-critical projects to enhance raw planning, inventory management, and service quality, including implementing rigorous cycle counts and loss reduction initiatives. Provide essential support for new product introductions and transitions to ensure seamless integration into existing processes. Efficiently resolve invoice exceptions and coordinate international orders through meticulous collaboration with relevant departments. Contribute to the optimization of sales order management and execute key inventory initiatives across the site to drive operational excellence. Oversee the daily editor schedule with precision, working in close coordination with operations, scheduling, and engineering teams to prioritize critical items. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management to support organizational goals and objectives. The ideal candidate for the Material Planner position must possess the following qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field Minimum of two years of experience in scheduling, planning, or supply chain within the manufacturing industry Demonstrated proficiency in analytical, mathematical, organizational, and communication skills Proven ability to take ownership of issues and drive results Capacity to initiate and lead change effectively Strong customer focus with the ability to anticipate and address customer needs proactively Competence in collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and execute overall requirements Proficiency in utilizing enterprise lean sigma (ELS) problem-solving tools, including A3 Thinking or other lean methodologies Ability to work effectively with management and employees at all levels Experience in process documentation and improvement initiatives
