GTM Strategy and Operations

Base Power is looking for a GTM Strategy and Operations generalist in Austin to help grow the business across new markets, channels, and products. The role focuses on building the systems, processes, reporting, and enablement needed to support launches and scale them, while also fixing bottlenecks and turning data into clear guidance for sales, growth, and leadership. It involves leading cross-functional projects from planning through delivery and working closely with teams across marketing, sales, support, product, and design. This role suits someone who can work well in fast-changing, loosely defined settings, takes initiative, and likes to build solutions rather than just advise on them.

ABOUT THE ROLE We're hiring a Strategic Ops generalist to do whatever it takes to grow. This isn't a defined role — it's a seat for someone who sees what needs to happen and makes it happen. One month you're standing up a new market launch. The next you're building the system that makes the last one scale. You'll work across every surface of the growth motion — new channels, new geographies, new products — and own the execution end to end. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Launch new markets, open new channels, and own the operational infrastructure that makes them scale: systems, processes, reporting, and enablement. - Identify bottlenecks and build the fixes, whether that's a process change, an automation, or new tooling. - Translate complex data into clear narratives and action for Sales, Growth, and leadership. - Lead cross-functional initiatives from design to execution, keeping timelines tight and priorities on track. WHAT YOU'LL BRING - A track record of figuring things out in fast-moving, under-defined environments. - Equal comfort in a spreadsheet, a member conversation, and a product spec. - An instinct to treat gaps as opportunities, not someone else's problem. - A habit of moving fast and starting before you're told to. - A need to build, not just advise, and to define your own scope as you go.
