Internal Audit Officer

BDO Unibank is seeking an Internal Audit Officer to join their team in Metro Manila. This role involves assessing the operations of the bank and its subsidiaries, focusing on enhancing internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. Daily tasks include conducting pre-audit briefings, performing fieldwork according to established methodologies, and reviewing compliance with policies and regulations. The officer will also investigate incidents leading to losses and suggest improvements to operational systems. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of experience in internal or external auditing, preferably within the banking or financial sector. Preferred certifications include CPA, CIA, or CISA. The position requires a willingness to conduct fieldwork and work onsite in Makati or Ortigas. This role is suitable for individuals with a strong background in auditing, operations, compliance, or control reviews.
