Jefe/a de Muelle

Boluda Corporación Marítima is seeking a Jefe/a de Muelle for their terminal in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The role involves managing the loading, unloading, and dispatch of goods, ensuring safety, quality, and operational objectives are met. Daily responsibilities include coordinating personnel and resources for port operations, supervising stowage activities, and managing the distribution of cargo both on the vessel and at the terminal. The position also requires real-time operational control and incident resolution, along with adjustments to stowage plans as necessary. Candidates should have experience in maritime terminal operations or shipping, along with training in vessel stowage. A B1 level of English is required for effective communication. The job is a full-time, permanent position with a shift schedule that includes morning, afternoon, night, and early morning hours, depending on vessel arrivals.
