Data Engineer

Broadridge is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team in Yerevan, Armenia. The role involves providing Level 2 support and facilitating communication across various departments, including Support and Data Quality. Daily tasks include maintaining data in the Dafactory, which involves adding historical data for new contracts, editing existing data, and removing outdated information. The engineer will also manage retransmissions from DF boxes, build and retransmit standard data types, and restore missing data within the Ticker-Plant system. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a solid background in Linux. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Awk, and Python is essential, as is experience with MySQL and MSSQL databases. Fluency in both oral and written English is required for effective communication. This position is suitable for individuals with a strong technical foundation who are adept at problem-solving and data management.
