Senior Cloud Operations Engineer (all genders) CH

This position involves maintaining the stability and efficiency of a SaaS platform hosted on AWS, Azure, and T-Systems. The role requires ensuring service level agreements are met while managing over twenty clusters that support the entire customer base. Daily tasks include developing observability capabilities using Prometheus and Grafana, analyzing incidents, and performing root-cause analyses. You will also handle second-level support and participate in on-call rotations. A significant part of the job is automating cloud infrastructure setup with Terraform and managing Kubernetes deployments via ArgoCD, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, you will refine backup and disaster-recovery strategies to ensure system resilience and keep technical documentation current. The role demands broad knowledge of networking, security, virtualization, and container technologies. Candidates must have experience with automation tools like Ansible and Terraform, as well as scripting languages such as Bash and Python. Solid expertise in Linux distributions, including Ubuntu, Debian, RedHat, and CentOS, is essential. Applicants need a completed vocational training or equivalent qualification along with at least three years of relevant experience in this field.
