Product Owner - Imunify Email (remote work)

CloudLinux is seeking a Product Owner for its Imunify Email product line, which focuses on email security for hosting providers. In this role, you will lead a small, remote team of engineers, including specialists in Go and Python, as well as experts in deliverability and anti-spam. Your responsibilities will include overseeing product delivery, ensuring system reliability, and fostering team growth. The position requires a balance of leadership and hands-on engineering, with approximately 60% of your time dedicated to guiding the team and 40% to technical tasks such as design and code reviews. Candidates should have experience leading engineers in related fields like infrastructure, networking, or security, and should be comfortable diving into complex technical challenges. While expertise in email systems is not mandatory, a willingness to learn about this area is essential. The existing system includes an Rspamd-based inbound filtering engine and a Halon-based outbound SMTP relay, along with various panel integrations.
