Head of Security

Code Metal is seeking a Head of Security to enhance and expand its security program as the company continues to grow. In this role, the individual will be responsible for developing security strategies and providing technical direction across various aspects of the organization, including products, infrastructure, and corporate systems. Collaboration with engineering, IT, legal, compliance, and leadership teams is essential to ensure that the security measures align with the requirements of defense, government, and enterprise clients. The ideal candidate should possess over ten years of experience in cybersecurity and compliance, with a strong background in security leadership. A broad technical understanding of product, cloud, infrastructure, and enterprise security is necessary, along with experience in advancing security programs. This position is fully remote, making it suitable for professionals who are adept at making risk-based decisions and can effectively engage with engineers, executives, customers, and government partners. The role is designed for a senior leader with a solid technical foundation and a strategic mindset.
