Software Engineer - Developer Experience

Cogent Security is hiring a remote Software Engineer focused on developer experience for its Core Platform team. The role centers on improving how code moves from development to production, including build systems, CI/CD, provisioning, and tools that help both engineers and AI agents ship securely and quickly. It also involves creating infrastructure that lets agents build, deploy, test, and validate software on their own, as well as developing a secure, self-hosted replacement for GitHub Actions runners that meets compliance needs. This position is aimed at someone who has already worked on developer and delivery infrastructure at an AI or fast-growing startup and wants to shape autonomous software release workflows.
