Solutions Architect - Public Sector (SLED)

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect for the Public Sector, specifically within the SLED segment, to work remotely. In this role, you will lead the adoption of the Databricks Unified Analytics Platform by collaborating with customers and internal teams to identify use cases, develop architectures, and guide implementations. Daily tasks will involve providing technical leadership, consulting on big data architecture, and creating proof of concepts for various projects, including data science and machine learning. The position requires over six years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, with a strong background in designing distributed data systems. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, Java, SQL, or R is essential. Experience with public cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP is also necessary. This role is ideal for individuals who have worked with Public Sector clients and are comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders. You will also promote open-source projects related to Databricks within developer communities through various events.
