Senior Accountant (m/w/d)

This full-time position at Doonails, a rapidly expanding beauty startup, involves managing the financial operations for three distinct entities located in Germany, the United States, and Cyprus. The role requires preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with German commercial law, while also providing support for international reporting standards. You will handle the reconciliation of intercompany transactions between these global offices and manage daily bookkeeping for e-commerce and retail payment streams. The position also entails maintaining general and subsidiary ledgers, as well as optimizing accounting workflows within the Oracle NetSuite system. Additionally, you will prepare tax filings for international e-commerce activities, including OSS and US state requirements, in close collaboration with external tax advisors and auditors. The job demands a minimum of four to five years of professional experience in accounting, with a strong background in IFRS and HGB standards. Candidates should ideally have prior experience in e-commerce or scale-up environments with omnichannel operations. The role is based in Germany and involves working closely with both the accounting and FP&A teams under the supervision of the Accounting Team Lead.
